No Bake Cookie Dough bites (healthy version)

Healthy No-Bake Cookie Dough Bites

Makes 12

Ingredients

• 2/3 cup raw cashews
• 1/3 cup oats
• 2 Tbsp agave syrup
• 1 Tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ¼ cup sweet cacoa nibs (you can sub dark chocolate chips if you’re not staying away from sugar like I am)

Directions

1. Combine oats and cashews in a food processor and grind into a flour-like consistency.
2. Add agave, maple syrup, and vanilla, and blend again until smooth.
3. Transfer your dough into a mixing bowl and stir in cacao nibs by hand.
4. Roll the dough into approximately 12 chocolate truffle-sized balls. Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge for later.

It was pretty hard to resist popping these into my mouth before I photographed them. Luckily, the process for making them only takes about 20 minutes from start to finish.

healthy homemade salad dressings!

I LOVE healthy alternatives to the common salad dressings. I can say I LOVE the Ranch dressing alternative and about 90% of the time we end up using the Olive Oil and Lemon recipe, just using Limes instead, its AMAZEBALLS>

Oatmeal, almond butter, chocolate and sea salt cookies

I just loved this Gluten free recipe that I found on a blog that I enjoy. Had to re-post and share it with you all! 

3 Eggs

1 Cup of Brown Sugar

1 Cup of White Sugar

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

1 Teaspoon of White Corn Syrup

2 Teaspoons of Baking Soda

1 Stick of Butter, Melted

1.5 Cups of Raw Unsalted Almond Butter

4.5 Cups of Oatmeal [I use Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Oats]

1 Cup of Semi Sweet Chocolate Chunks

Sea Salt Flakes

Mix together all of the ingredients listed above until just combined. Use an ice cream scoop to form uniform balls, place on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper and then lightly press on the top of each cookie to slightly flatten them. Sprinkle each cookie with the sea salt flakes and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

7 day nail polish

IF you are like me, and loathe chipped nails, but don't have the time or money to get a new gel mani every 2 weeks, you need to try this 7 day nail polish by Vinylux. I'm here to tell you its pretty damn good. It's better than regular polish, but doesn't last as long as a gel. AND the best part is, you don't have to soak your hands in acetone to get the stuff off. He's already pretty much the most sexy man on the planet.  I mean he makes a button up sweater vest sexy, he makes slicked back hair sexy, he makes a gruesome beard sexy.

Anyways, at about 1:15 in this clip, he shows his adorable new puppy. You get the point, this man is sexy.

My Youtube Love Obsessions

I've mentioned before that I love watching beauty YouTube videos. I especially fell in love while I was nursing my son, and needed something to keep me occupied in the wee hours............ Now I watch one or two as I pump at work.  It just makes my pumping routine that much more relaxing and time flies by WAY fast.  ANYHOW, I thought I would share my favorite beauty gurus, so in no particular order...

Nicole's personality is catchy as hell, and her hair is ON POINT. Love everything about her tips and tricks.

                                                              Jaclyn Hill 

Obsession. If I had to pick one all-time favorite beauty guru, it might just be Jaclyn Hill.  She is the only YouTuber who does tutorials that I actually try to follow.  I Love her look and her personality. She used to be a MAC makeup artist for years and started Youtube to stay in touch with her old clients. I LOVE HER. She keeps it real and really knows her ISH.

MM&L Show

These girls are just hysterical.  You might recognize Michelle Money from The Bachelor.  She and her best friend, Laura, make videos about beauty, fashion, and exercise/nutrition.  I always get SUPER excited when they have a new video (usually about once per week).

Lisa Eldridge 

Lisa Eldridge is a professional makeup artist who paints the faces of A-list stars across the globe.  Her videos are actually really informative.
